About

Thanasis Karachalios received his B.Sc. in Physics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2005. His Bachelor's Thesis was "Digital Signal Processing using Optimized Algorithms for Texas Instruments Microprocessors (DSPs)". He received his M.Sc. in Electronics and Automation at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2008. His Master's Thesis was "Research and Development of Low-power and Area-Efficient Implementation of components for WiMAX (IEEE 802.16e) Physical Layer". He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Physics Department NKUA with thesis subject: "Real-Time Processing Architectures for Telecommunications Physical Layer".
