George Korinthios, Ph.D.

George A. Korinthios graduated from the Physics Department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 1994. In 1996 he received his M.Sc. in Telecommunications from the Physics Department and the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the University of Athens. In 2002 he received his PhD in VLSI Architectures for Broadband Communications systems from the same university. He has been with the DST since 1994 acting as a research and senior research associate and has participated in numerous of the team's projects. From 2002 he has been working with the 3G Technology Section of the Switching Dept. and New Technologies Sub-Department of COSMOTE S.A, actively involved (incl. technical management) in the specification, design and implementation of various COSMOTE internal projects concerning new technologies introduction in the existing network, innovation experimentation and research projects. Currently, he holds the position of Network Architecture & Strategy Manager at COSMOTE S.A.
